ExecuJet Celebrates 20 Years in Germany at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 | Luxaviation Group
Luxembourg / Friedrichshafen – ExecuJet, Europe’s largest Fixed Base Operator (FBO) network and part of the Luxaviation Group, commemorates 20 years of operations in Germany with a prominent presence at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 (22–25 April). This anniversary marks two decades of continuous investment, facility development and operational leadership across Germany’s key business aviation hubs.
ExecuJet established its first German FBO at Berlin Schönefeld in 2006 and has since grown into one of the most trusted providers of business aviation services in the region. Today, ExecuJet operates leading facilities at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and Munich International Airport (MUC), two strategic pillars within its European network.
ExecuJet significantly expanded its Berlin footprint in 2008 with the inauguration of a redesigned and enlarged FBO at Berlin Schönefeld, featuring upgraded VIP and crew facilities that strengthened its role in the capital’s business aviation market. In 2010, the company was selected by Berlin Airports to operate the General Aviation Terminal, underscoring its reputation for reliability and service quality.
In 2016, the company expanded with the acquisition of Munich’s largest business aviation FBO, establishing a dual presence in Germany’s two main aviation hubs. Both facilities have since achieved internationally recognised IS-BAH accreditations, underscoring ExecuJet’s commitment to safety and best practices. Both the Berlin and Munich locations saw a significant expansion in 2020 following the takeover of another operator’s facilities, substantially strengthening the company’s presence at both airports.
Continued Investment in Infrastructure and Operational Excellence
Advancing Safety and Operational Standards Across Germany
In 2023, ExecuJet reinforced its presence in Berlin with the reopening of the fully refurbished BER General Aviation Terminal, delivered through New GAT Berlin GmbH and aligned with the latest EU regulatory standards. In 2024, the Berlin FBO renewed its IS-BAH Stage II accreditation, underscoring its continued leadership in safety and operational best practices. This commitment was further demonstrated in 2025, when the Munich facility also achieved IS-BAH Stage II accreditation.
Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group, commented: “Germany is one of the most dynamic and mature markets in European business aviation. Over the past 20 years, ExecuJet Germany has built a strong reputation for reliability, safety and service excellence. This milestone reflects both the dedication of our teams and our long-term commitment to delivering best-in-class services in this key market.”
Ronny Stechert, Managing Director ExecuJet Germany, added: “Our teams in Berlin and Munich consistently deliver outstanding performance, including during high-traffic events and complex operations. This anniversary is a tribute to their expertise and dedication, as well as to the trust our customers place in us. We remain focused on further enhancing our services and supporting the evolving needs of business aviation in Germany.”
